Appearance: Since Ariel is half Unistanian(Russian) and halfHighlander(Scottish), she has red hair that goes down to her mid-back,emerald green eyes, and tannish white feathers. Her bangs, whichdivide in the middle and have three hanging loose, two touchingher brows and one between her eyes, are black. She also has ablack streak in the middle of her red hair. In battle(odd, thata four year old can fight, huh?), she has her hair tied in braidedloops, with black bows securing them. During the rest of thetime, she’d either leave her hair down, or tie them in pigtails. Her body build is the same as any other four year old girl; trimand delicate. Yet even though she’s not muscular, she’smore buff than most girls her height and age.
Weapons: Since her father is a fighter, Ariel tries to liveup to her father’s talents. Currently, she uses a goldencutlass for a weapon, followed by poison arrows, and a miniaturebow made out of silver, trimmed with sapphires, with the bow stringmade out of an uncutable diamond silk. She also keeps a half-inchdagger inside her boot just in case her weapons fail to work. If all else fails, she just uses her physic fire powers to survivein battle.
Attire: Ariel wears the same attire her mother wore, in thesame style as her Aunt Calandra. An alexandrite(dark purple)turtleneck leotard, with diamond white accents around the collarand the sleeves. On the diamond white accent on her neck, a rosezircon stone is in the middle, shaped like a starina rose. Shealso wears thin silver arm bands and silver armlets, nearly touchingher elbows. Underneath her alexandrite leotard are a pair of obsidiantights, followed by alexandrite colored boots. Around her forehead,she wears a thin wooden headband, with a diamond heart in thecenter, surrounded by pink rhinestones. Strapped around her backis a quiver filled with miniature poison arrows, with her bowtied in back.
For everyday wear, Ariel either wears a white shirt and pinkoveralls, or a white blouse and a green and blue plaid jumper,with white calf high socks and black shoes.
Personality: Ariel is very sweet and sensitive. Not much ofthe warrior type, but a lot stronger and braver than the majorityof four year old girls. She’s sweet to a fault, and verynaive. Of course, you would expect that type of behavior froma four year old girl. What you WOULDN’T expect from oneis that she doesn’t cry that easily. And even though herphysic fire powers are remarkable, she’d trade them immediatelyfor a normal life. However, like all four year old girls, Arielis always wanting attention. She can’t stand not being thecenter of noticement(sp?).
History: Nearly two years after the second Saurian Invasionon
Puckworld, Ariel was born in the Highlands. Her parents wereLayla
Icewing Drakeler, a Highlander, and Slayde Drakeler, a Unistanian.
Since her parents were both guinea pigs in the Saurians’sexperiments
during the second invasion, Ariel was born with physicpowers too.
Except, unlike her parents’s powers, which weretelepathic
and physic, she was given the ability to start firesjust by THINKING
of them. That very power frightened her, sinceshe’s still
having a hard time learning to control them,on the count of her
young age. Luckily, the other Highlanderswere brave and volunteered
to help Layla and Slayde train Dorothyto learn how to control
her frightening powers. Despite the hardwork Ariel displayed in
trying to control her new powers, shelead a very happy life in
the Highlands. Every night there werefestive dances. She always
had a fun time dancing with the othergirls.
Until one day, another attack hit the Highlands. A swarm ofmassive
red robots. They were like the Hunter Drones that workedfor Draguanus
when he attacked Puckworld, except they were moreadvanced, dangerous,
and MUCH more intelligent. The drones attackedthe Highlands without
warning, so the Highlanders were ill equippedto defend themselves.
Nonetheless, even though they weren’tprepared, the Highlanders
were much better fighters than the Megadronesexpected them to
be, which gave them the opportunity to fightback and destroy them
without hesitation. Ariel tried to helpto defend her clan against
the sudden drone attack, but she wastoo young to destroy the drones.
She was able to damage the camerason some of them, but that was
all. She couldn’t use herfull powers because if she did,
she would’ve destroyed theentire Highland village.
Suddenly, a viscous swarm of Megadrones surrounded Dorothy, gunspointed
at her head. Ariel didn’t have any more strengthto fight,
and if she tapped down to her ultimate power, she woulddestroy
everything around her, including herself. Before sheknew it, her
mother Layla shoved her out of the way, and was shoteverywhere
by the Megadrones herself. Enraged by the death ofher mother,
Ariel tapped into her hidden power by mistake, anddestroyed the
drones by a gust of fiery wind. Even though thedrones were destroyed,
the Highlanders’ victory didn’tcome without extensive
damage to their village. The greatestdamage of all was Layla’s
death. Ariel’s father wentto find the area where the drones
came from and stop them beforemore attacked the rest of the world.
Ariel asked to come alongas well, so Slayde tagged her along,
knowing he couldn’tleave his only child behind.
A few months along the trail the two took, Ariel’s dad founda
mother Himilanx(a cross between a Himalayan and a Manx), withthree
baby Himilanxes. Slayde didn’t want to bring themin at first,
thinking they’d only get in the way. However,the mother cat
proved herself worthy by hunting for Slayde andAriel, bringing
them back a hearty male deer, which would makegood venison. So
Slayde changed his mind, welcoming the mothercat in. He also agreed
to take along her children, knowing amother doesn’t want
to leave behind her children and they’dhave the power to
do the same as their mother when they got older.
About nearly a year along their trail, Ariel and Slayde cameupon
an old concentration camp from the second Saurian Invasion. After
they fought off two dozen Megadrones, they knew that thiswas the
place where the drones that attacked the Highlands werecreated.
Entering the worn down camp and dodging more traps,the two found
a Saurian scientist meddling around his desk, obviouslyinventing
something else. After Ariel hid under her father’sinstructions,
Slayde went to sneak up on the scientist. However,the scientist
attacked him, as if he knew he was there the entiretime.
When the scientist morphed into battle clothes and fought withSlayde,
Ariel feared that her dad would die, just the same asher mother
did. Without thinking twice, Ariel used her fire powersto burn
a hole right in the center of the scientist’s body. Before
he died, the scientist already informed Slayde and Arielthat they
were too late; that he already sent a batch of his newestMegadrones
to Draguanus on Earth, along with the blue-prints forthem. Knowing
that they had to do something to stop a secondattack on another
planet, Slayde found a teleporter on one ofthe damaged drones.
Pressing a button, Slayde and Ariel wereteleported from Puckworld
to Earth.
Good Points: Ariel is very sweet and kind. She knows how toshare and does her best not to be rude to anyone. She’salso a good fighter, archer, and fencer. She also knows how tomake friends with others, and is sometimes the only one that canstop Duke and her dad from trying to kill each other. Her firepowers are also very powerful and useful in battle. Right now,she’s learning how to play the violin from her aunt, andfor someone who’s as young as Ariel, she’s a prettytalented musician.
Bad Points: Ariel is much too young to be fighting an armyof Megadrones, much less the Saurians. She’s very innocentand naive, not having enough experience in the world of a warriorto fight. She can’t fight that well, since she’s stillvery young and doesn’t have enough practice in the art ofcombat. She’s also still learning how to control her powers. And her attempts to stay the center of attention are annoying.
Pets: Ariel has three kittens as pets: two males named Riokin,named after her mom’s father and Joseph, named after herdeceased grandfather; and the female Layla, named after her mother
