Sad to say it, but this issue finally came up, we used the honor system for over a year now, but times change. The Channel is no longer a private, invite-only one, we get people in from all over. Different backgrounds, different RP styles, but everyone has the right to come in and enjoy RPing or chatting about the ducks.
1. NO BASHING. That means don't runaround saying you hate this character, or you hate that character, or a certain person/species. Everyone has their own opinions and are entitled to them, just don't let your opinion become abusive to others.
2. NO god-moding. When roleplaying...don't be invincible. If you're in a fight scene, take a few hits, no one ever gets through unscathed, and if people see you're always winning and coming out on top 'all' of the time, they'll be less inclined to RP with you in the future.
3. USE COMMON SENSE!!!!!!!!! I think that rule explains itself.
4. Don't assume that you will automatically be able to 'go out' with whatever character you decide you have a crush on, please respect the people that play the original Mighty Ducks, and ASK them first, same thing goes for people who play characters related to the originals.
5. No person may RP more then two characters at once unless its an extremely special case. This means no roleplaing more then two period, however if you want to have one char switch and other come in, thats fine..
6. SOP's AOP's and of course The Chan Founder set the rules. You can tell who these people are because they have a @ symbol in front of their names. Currently,they are emilylorange and Calista. Listen to them if they tell you stop stop something, and don't try to argue their decisions. If you feel a decision was leveled against you unfairly, log the event and bring it to Calista to sort out later.
7. Be polite... I feel bad even writing this one, but it is an issue lately. One...don't judge people by their character. Two...when you come into the chan, don't expectall conversation or RP to halt because you want to do something else. Sit back, relax, watch..join in if you want. If theres no RP..don't whine about there not being one...START one instead ;)
8. Don't pop in and out of the chan repeatedly, don't send files to other people without their permission, do NOT try to impersonate other people... Anyone that does this will be akicked as long as I feel like...
9. This is an RP chan, but OOC chatter is just fine, as long as it doesn't eat up all the time when an RP is planned ;)
