* `Karai walks in carrying a stack of books. "Cali! Duke! I need your help!"
* `Karai looks as if she is about to drop the books there are so many..

* `Duke` blinks and gets up. "Uhh... gettin' yer light readin' in for the week?"
* `Duke` gets a few off the top. "What the heck are they all?"
* `Calista grabs another few before they slip and drops them on the table
* `Karai says "Someone take these from me before my arms fall off."
* `Duke` rolls his eyes at the non-answer and grabs the stack. "So... whadya do, ransack a used
bookstore?"
<`Karai> No...Nat's library.
* `Duke` sets them down on a table and eyes them dubiously. "Any more midnight masterpieces?
And where's Fal?"
<`Karai> Wha? and I don't know.
* Falcone comes in carrying an armload. "I'm right here."
* `Karai rubs her arms. "Owww.." Then she looks at Fal. "Thanks."
* `Calista surveys the books, wondering what kind they are..
* Falcone sets them down next to the others. He murmurs to Duke, "These things give me the
creeps, you can feel something when you touch them."

* `Calista leans down and looks at Duke, giggling

* `Karai stops upon seeing the intruder, who appears to be trying to figure out how to shut off the

* `Calista sets Duke on a nearbye table and tries to get a good look at the intruder

* `Calista looks down at Duke and smothers a laugh, saying innocently "I could get you a pincushion

gorgeous female duck with gold eyes, dark brown hair and grey feathers. She wears a silver top nad
forest green pants as well as kneehigh boots. Her saber is silver with a black streak. There are three
ragged black streaks over her left eye. She too carries a grappling hook and a set of lock picks in
her boot.

<`Karai> *Kin gives him a look that says if he doesn't explain he'll regret it.
* `Duke` sighs loudly. "Okay! Look, ya remember the plan? Canard was gonna fly us to the Master
Tower, usin the Mask to find it so we could bust in? Well, it didn't quite go like we planned..."
<`Karai> *kin nods.
* `Duke` goes on to tell all the sordid details that transpired, how they ran into trouble, Wildwing got
captured, , they had to fight it out with Dragaunus' goons, Tanya's bomb went off prematurely
because Mallory mis-set it, Dragaunus left them for dead in the dying tower, Nosedive made a last
second rescue...
<`Duke`> They followed the Raptor into a Gateway wormhole, Dragaunus unleashed something on
them and Canard sacrificed himself so they could get away, they arrived on Earth, and spent 2 years
fighting Dragaunus and a few other goons, while also establishing themselves in the NHL.
* `Duke` heaves a breath. "Does that clear ya up?"
* `Calista yawns..
* Falcone grins. "That was rather well stated, old friend."

and gently catching him and putting him on her shoulder.
* `Duke` yelps in astonishment at the trick. "Hey, ya mind a little care here? I splatter kinda easy at
this size."
* `Calista lets out a yelp!
<`Karai> <Kin> Relax...I have inproved my skills Duke.
* `Duke` catches his breath. "Ya got insurance??"

* `Duke` holds onto her garb and her hair tight, unused to being on a moving "tower" like this.
* `Calista uhms and whispers to Karai "Is there anyway to get him back to normal before Kin
decides to flush him or something?"
* Falcone says quietly, "That would be appreciated."
* `Karai shakes her head and whispers back "No...the spell should be wearing off soon
anyway...about 15 more minutes I think."

back. She take Duke and puts him near Fal.

* `Karai watches as her spell wears off and the two are returned to normal size.
* `Duke` blinks as they expand, and then grins at Fal. "Hey! Man, six feet never looked so good!"
<`Karai> *Kin hugs her brother. "At last. A big brother again."

* `Karai smiles and looks at Fal...."How are you feeling?"
* `Duke` grabs Kin and hugs her off the floor. "Yeah, its good ta see ya too Kin."

* Falcone smirks at his wife. "Put upon, if you must know."
<`Karai> <Kin> I missed you, Duke. It wasn't nearly as much fun being a thief without you there to
harry me."
* Duke chuckles. "Yeah, I missed you too Kin. It was kinda quiet without you raisin' cain."
`Karai smiles at FAl. "Then you can feel un put upon while I go take a nap." She turns and walks
out....

* Falcone chuckles. "Well, have a good sleep. I hope you're in a better mood."

<Kintarae> Okay...now where do I sleep?
<`Duke`> Well, follow me, we got a couple'o rooms we were usin' ta store stuff in, but they work
great as livin' quarters.
* `Duke` heads off down a hallway along the living quarters.
* Kintarae follows him looking around. "Where is everyone else? I assume there are others living
here?"
* `Calista hangs back with Falcone, not sure if she should follow or not
* `Duke` grins. "Yeah, there's quite a few that stay here, tho with hockey season over, most've gone
their separate ways. Grin went to someplace called Tibet to get all spiritual an' stuff.
<Kintarae> Any cute guys?
* Falcone says to Calista, "You should follow them, perhaps get to know her."
<`Calista> Well...maybe they need sometime to get re-aquainted without me
* `Duke` rubs his chin. "Well... there's Nosedive, if ya can call him cute. Or a guy." ;)
* Kintarae looks curious. "How old is he?"
* Falcone smiles. "Well, I suppose there's time for that, suit yourself."
<`Duke`> Oh, he's 18 by now, maybe goin' on 19.
* Kintarae smiles. "Ohhhh..and older guy...I'll have to have some fun with him...."
* `Duke` laughs. "Uhh... ya know, he might actually be up to the challenge."
* Kintarae gives him an innnocent look. "What challenge?"
* `Duke` grins. "*You* are a challenge to everyone, in about every way."

<Kintarae> Letting me hang around all those thieves and such in the Brotherhood....
<Kintarae> Soooo...where is this Nosedive?
* `Duke` laughs! "I tried! I talked to ya, leaned on the guys, nothing worked. And... i dunno where
Dive is, he kinda comes'n goes with the others."
<`Calista> *Dive is in his room, playing a very vocal game of foozball with himself
* `Duke` hears a muffled sound from the rooms. "Uhh... come to think of it... he might be around..."
* Kintarae blinks...hearing Dive's voice. "That's him?"
* `Duke` shrugs. "Well... yeah. Wanna intro?"
* Kintarae grins. "Do I like guys?"
* `Duke` chuckles. "Uhh... I'll buzz'im." He goes to his door and hits a button beside it.
<`Calista> *Dive makes a few last shots before answer "Who's that??"
<`Duke`> Uhh... someone's got a funny idea they might wanna see ya.
* Kintarae rolls her eyes.
<`Calista> *Dive opens his door a crack "Really?"
* `Duke` grins and ducks out of the way.
* Kintarae tosses her head, flipping her hair over her shoulder. She grins at Dive. "Hi."
* `Duke` stifles laughter, her moves never failed to make an eye-grabbing scene.
<`Calista> *Dive gapes back "Uh...hi.."
* Kintarae chuckles. "Are you going to come out here or do I come in after you?"
<`Calista> *Dives edges out of his room, hiding the mess

* Kintarae looks him over. "Mmmm..." She holds out her hand. "I'm Kintarae. Kin for short."
<`Calista> *Dive looks a little nervous "Uhm...well, I'm Dive..." *looks at her hand for a moment
before taking it*
* Kintarae clasps his hand for a moment before letting it fall.
<Kintarae> Nice to meet you Dive....
<`Calista> <Dive> Uhm....nice to meet you to...you steying long?
* Kintarae nods. "I guess."
* `Duke` sighs, and leaves the lovebirds to deal with his wife.
* `Calista hehs..
* `Duke` goes back towards the Rec room and Ready room looking for Calista.
* `Calista sees Duke coming full-sized and uh-ohs..
* `Calista scampers off to try and hide
* `Duke` says quietly with a smirk, "Ya put a spell on me."
